Summary

A house that was constructed in 1782 is situated on the northern side of the Main Road, opposite its junction with The Drove. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with brick gable chimney stacks. The house is single story with an attic range lit by two gable roof dormer windows with two light casements. The street facade has a two window range of casements that flank a central door with the right window and door sharing a wooden lintel. The left gable has a central protruding chimney stack with a casement window to each floor. During the 20th century the house was extended to the rear.

{1} Shown on 1841 Enclosure Map;

{2} One storey and attics, class 2a, 1782, the date on the south gable. Probably built by one of the Osborn family, bakers and victuallers, who lived on the High Street;

{3} A house that was constructed in 1782. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with brick end chimney stacks. The house is single story with an attic range lit by two gable roof dormer windows with two light casements. The street facade has a two window range of casements that flank a central door with the right window and door sharing a wooden lintel. The left gable has a central protruding chimney stack with a casement window to each floor. During the 20th century the house was extended to the rear. Error in Building file.
