Summary

The site of a house that is situated on the western side of Main Road opposite the junction with The Drove. The house was built during the first half of the 19th century of coursed rubble and ashlar with double pitch Collyweston slate roofs with gable chimney stacks. The house is T shaped in plan with a long range orientated roughly north to south with the gable abutting the road, and an east to west range abutting the centre of the longer range. The main road facing facade has two, three light casement windows to the left and right with a two story projecting entrance bay in the angle of the wings. The entrance bay has a door with a rectangular fanlight beneath a large two light casement window. The road gable has a catslide roof to the east with a small extension that has a low window with wooden shutters and a blocked similar window to its right.
