Summary

Situated on the north western side of West Street is a house constructed in 1826 of rendered coursed rubble with a Collyweston slate roof. The building is single story with an attic range lit by dormer windows. The eastern dormer gable has the inscription J/RM/1826 and the western dormer gable has WDE 1964.

Full Description

{2} Nos. 49, 51, one storey and attics, perhaps originally class 4a with later rear wing. Plaster oval on dormer inscribed 'RJM 1826' for Richard Johnson (Enclosure Map);

{3} Situated on the north western side of West Street is a house constructed in 1826 of rendered coursed rubble with a Collyweston slate roof. The building is single story with an attic range lit by dormer windows. The eastern dormer gable has the inscription J/RM/1826 and the western dormer gable has WDE 1964. The 1964 inscription records a re-tiling of the roof.
