Summary

Situated on the northern side of West Street is a house constructed in 1837 of coursed rubble with a Collyweston slate roof. The building is two stories high with stone flat arched openings containing casement windows. A central datestone on the upper floor is octagonal with the inscription WPM 1837.

Full Description

{2} No 20, originally a pair, two storeys, class 4c. Date-panel 'WPM 1837'.

[To the east were: No. 15, a 17th-century probable former farm building and a ruinous 17th or early 18th century building which was ruinous in 1984. Both now demolished.]

A central datestone on the upper floor is octagonal with the inscription WPM 1837. The building was originally a two unit plan but has now been amalgamated and much altered.
