Full Description
{1} To the west of the villa precinct the furrows were aligned north-south to the east with a headland to the north against an adjoining system of east-west furrows. Remnants of the western headland were also faintly visible. The area containing the villa remained flat, suggesting that the villa was an upstanding ruin in the medieval period.
