Full Description
{1} The eastern half of a roundhouse ditch was uncovered with associated ditches and pits. The roundhouse ditch measured 3.25-0.45m deep with one recut. The internal diameter measuring 10.60m, no structural evidence was uncovered. The ditch terminal fill contained burnt cobbles and pottery. Pit 8 lay within the roundhouse of sub square shape with vertical sides measuring 0.70m x 0.45m deep. A small group of circular pits represent a later phase of activity as they cut both the roundhouse ditch and the north/east ditches.
