Full Description

{1} In Trench 2 there was a gully lined with flat stones. A well was not excavated as a result of health and safety concerns although it was seen to continue beyond a depth of 5.4m. A large pit which had formerly contained fuel tanks contained a small V shaped ditch and its fill contained one sherd of St Neot's ware pottery. The sherd was from a biconical vessel in reduced ware of 280mm in diameter with a shoulder cordon.
