Full Description
{1} The charred remains of the Kingswell Street factory building once housed a thriving model making empire famed around the country at the turn of the 1900's. As well as railways the Bassett-Lowke factory supplied model steam engines, live steam locomotives and a range of model boats, scale ships and construction sets until 1965. The factory was set alight by arsonists on 11/06/03 and demolished a few days later.
