Full Description
{1} Four undated features were recorded. A 0.88m diameter shallow pit containing a dark brown sandy clay fill was located in the NW quadrant on the outside of the ring ditch. Within the ring ditch was a rectangular pit with vertical sides and a flat base. The feature measured 1m wide x 1.01m deep and contained three fills. In the NE quadrant there were two further pits oval in shape with concave sides and a flat base. These contained mid reddish brown sandy silty clay with angular limestone fragments.
