Full Description

{1} A north to south aligned trackway was identified through geophysical survey and evaluation. The track was bounded by a ditch on either side, evidence of recutting indicated that the track comprised at least two phases of use. A horizontally laid stone surface was recovered on the eastern side of trench 18, which may have represented the line of the track. This metalling, when partially excavated, contained a cart rut and was sealed by a possible disuse layer.
