Full Description

{1} David Hall notes the presence of lime kilns to the north of the village.

{2} Shows two or possibly three small lime kilns within a sub-rectangular enclosure. By the time of the 2nd Edition OS mapping this enclosure is marked as the earthwork of an "old quarry".
