Monument record 726/19/1 - 4th century building

{1}Earlier phase replaced in the 4th century at a point further east by a building with limestone foundations 1m wide. Three rooms were identified. Floors were tesselated and wall of painted plaster.

{4}In the early fourth century AD a pair of rectangular timber buildings were erected but soon replaced by a stone founded building, which continued into the late fourth century. Both phases appear to have been reasonably substantial houses of modest pretensions set back some 60m from the Kings Sutton road.

{5}This succeeded a timber building and was positioned 3m further out from the rampart and 6.7m further to the NW.
