Full Description

{1} Cut into an earlier deposit was a linear ditch running north to south, and containing concrete and rubble. This was identified as the foundation trench for the boundary wall to Church Barn. No artefacts were retrieved or observed during this investigation.

[SMR Note: the boundary wall dates at least to the 1880's when it is shown on first edition OS mapping.]
