Full Description

{1} An interesting collection of pottery suggesting a long-lived site close by of mid 1st century BC to early 5th century AD maximum date range. The pottery was generally quite worn ("abraded"). Depending upon how small an area they came from they could represent manuring (if a wide thin scatter) or a site (if a close, dense scatter).
