Full Description

{1} A number of Roman pottery sherds were recovered from the upper fill of layer 13 dating to the late 2nd early 3rd century .
Area B contained a section of Roman Road consisting of limestone slabs approximately 0.25m across with ironstone pieces laid directly onto the surface of a mixed gravel deposit.
