Full Description

{1} Much of the eastern part of the excavation site was occupied by a sub-rectangular enclosure with rounded corners with a narrow entrance at the north west corner although only one terminal survived. There were a scatter of pits or post holes containing limestone wihin the enclosure and a linear ditch ran across its southern part. The ditch's relationship to the enclosure was not established but the similar form and fills indicate that it is broadly contemporary.
