Full Description
{1} Two sets of zig zag patterns, interrupted by the access created for the Bathing Place in 1906, suggesting they are 19th century or earlier. They form a low bank 2-3m wide flanked by a ditch 1-1.5m wide, the interval between the angles on one side is 15-18m and the pattern is 12-15m wide. The features may relate to Sr Andrews Priory garden or the secular estate that replaced it. (Interpretation of earthworks by T Welsh).
