Full Description
{1} Four light anti-aircraft (LAA) gun sites located from documentary sources. These are, with modern NGRs calculated by Armishaw - L9 74/355092 at SP89988967. "These references are in (PRO) WO166/7707, the war diary of 120 LAA Regt 1942." L9 was close to and may have been on the 'loopholed' water tower (4015/7/1) then in a goods yard. " Corby first gets a mention when 113 LAA Bty took over 39 Lewis guns in 13 positions (3 guns in each) from 120 LAA Bty on 28th October 1939."
