{1} " So great was the influx of Weapons and Stores at this Period [WW2- at Weedon Depot] that Sub Depots or Relief Depots as they were called were opened at: " list of 6 follows including Old Midland Station, St John's Street, Northampton. "These Relief Depots were concerned with receipt and storage of weapons etc..". Note that the Old Midland Station has long since been demolished.
