Full Description
{2}Earthworks visible on aerial photograph show medieval closes and banks; all the remains have been destroyed by ploughing or by modern houses, but there were formerly a series of embanked closes extending south-east from the existing houses and ending on a hollow way. These earthworks were likely to have been abandoned paddocks of existing houses. The settlement was deserted by 1840;
