Ring ditches crop marks (site of)

{1} Ring ditch 15m diameter and other possible ditches. Cropmark of ploughed-out ring ditch, 20m diameter.

{3} SP 99858065. Crop Marks. SP 99808128. Crop Marks.

{4} Both the indicated sites are under pasture and there is no surface evidence of either mark. St Joseph's APs are not available and neither mark is apparent on available air photos (RAF 1949).

{5} Ring ditch at SP 99778062 diameter 15m. Other crop marks possibly ditches in this area. Second ring ditch (SP 99808128) diameter 20m. Both ploughed out.

{6} NGR for Aldwincle site 6 in RCHM Inventory (SP 99798562) is inconsistent with the written description of the location of the monument in the Inventory. The NGR given in Authority 3 (SP 99808128) is derived from the description.
