Full Description

{2} A series of stone-lined culverts were identified, most likely to be part of the drainage system for the industrial area and adjacent farmland. Centrally within Trench 2 and 1.5m below ground level was a NE to SW aligned stone-lined culvert 0.5m wide [context 204]. This may relate to the cropmark that this trench was intended to intercept.
