Full Description
{1} Cropmark recorded in 1981. Two conjoined enclosures.
{2} Cropmarks recorded in 1980. Part of a rectangular enclosure. Its rounded corners suggest a similarity to Roman campaign camps. Webster considers a domestic function more likely however. Two linear parallel ditches join one side of the enclosure. Possibly a road, and such a road alignment would correspond fairly well with the distribution of the Romano-British settlement.
