Full Description

{1} Earthwork round mound with an enclosing ring ditch, possibly dating to the C13th. The ring ditch fills with water during wet weather. It appears to cut the surrounding ridge and furrow. Headlands could also exist next to the earthwork indicating continued ploughing following construction.
