Full Description
{1} Cropmarks showing faint rectangular ditched enclosures and possible pits. NCCAP:SP9775/002.
{2} Cropmark evidence is limited to an area of about 2ha within the arable field which contains the western part of the site. (The full extent of the features to the east was only glimpsed in quarry sections.) Cropmarks represent two rectangular ditched enclosures which, though superimposed, share a common alignment. The boundary ditches extend into the pasture field where their continuation has been recorded by excavation. Both enclosures are larger than 0.3ha in area.
