Full Description
{1}{2} Route 160A.
{4} No noticable traces of the Roman road were seen during the watching brief.
{5} The Roman road between Towcester and Alchester Roman towns runs north-south some 500m east of the site, and is visible as a soilmark on air photographs. The agger is still visible where the road passes east of the site.
