Full Description

{2} Ponds lie immediately north-east of village. Now there are two irregular ponds, but originally there was only a single rectangular pond. The dam, up to 1.5m high, still survives at the downstream end and returns along east side of the ponds as bank between 0.5-1.5m high.

{3} Photograph of the dam, the great bank spanning a small valley is the retaining wall of a former lake, the date of which is unknown.
