Full Description

{2} A group of roughly rectangular ponds set in one corner of a generally rectangular area bounded by low banks and ditches. Not all of the ditches are contemporary; some are relatively recent drains. The disturbed nature of the ground here suggests that it is the site of a large building or group of buildings, probably the medieval manor of Foscote.

{3} Steadings at SP65964737 and SP65934734 had extant buildings in 1900 (OS 25" 1900).
