Full Description

{3} Immediately north of the church is a ditch, U-shaped in plan, with a broad external bank. The east side of the ditch opens out into an area of shallow quarrying. It is possible, though not certain, that this is the north west side of a small moat, perhaps the site of the medieval manor house.
