Full Description

{1} Earthworks consisting of a roughly rectangular arrangement of banks and ditches. On the south side is the recut channel of a small stream, now dry, up to 2m deep. This is joined at right-angles by a smaller, shallower channel. The north east angle thus formed is occupied by an L- shaped platform following the line of the two channels. This platform is level and varies in height above the uneven land surface, so it is highest, some 0.5 m, in the south and fades to the north. There is a small bank 0.25m high on top of the platform. To the north are ill-defined ditches and scarps.
