Full Description

{1} (SP997690) Ditches running at right angles, possibly modern (?).

{2} The ditches referred to above (Source 1) were mapped as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project from aerial photographs. A series of ditches, roughly trending east-west and northwest-southeast are possibly modern in date and may be drainage ditches. It is difficult to determine if they overlie or underlie the medieval/post-medieval ridge and furrow.
