Monument record 5665/0/0 - Possible Iron Age/Roman settlement, north-east of Brooks Road Farm

Group of cropmarks comprising a linear ditch some 337m long with two further lengths extending at right angles to the south could denote the presence of an extensive field system. A single sherd of Iron Age pottery and 10 sherds of Roman pottery were recovered during fieldwalking as part of the Raunds Area Project

Single sherd of Iron Age pottery and 10 sherds of early and middle Roman pottery from location of cropmarks. Pottery is evenly distributed and it is uncertain whether it is contempory with the cropmarks.
