{6}Road visible as broad light-coloured line traceable from point south of town where modern road leaves it at SP61506374 to just north of town where two rejoin at SP61006472; possible side ditches visible within area of town;,{8}AP published;,

{16}Essentially the settlement was focussed on Watling Street (thought to have been constructed in the immediate aftermath of the conquest of the area in AD40).

Information about the road layout primarily comes fro aerial photographic evidence and suggests a potentially quite complex development around a junction between Watling Street and the road running ESE towards Duston.
