Full Description
{2} An enclosure, north of Barnwell Castle, on cornbrash at 35m above OD. Air photographs (NCAU) show, very indistinctly, a possible rectangular enclosure.
{3} The enclosure is visible again on HE Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken 30th June 2015. It consists of a single ditch visible as a cropmark, 60m long by at least 55m wide. Its eastern edge is obscured by a modern hedge. The feature is centred approximately on NGR TL 05084 85729.
