Full Description
{1} Line of at least 19 possible bomb craters lie adjacent to the airfield. These are earthworks on NMR photos 170TU/BR489/8 – u.14, u.23 & u.24, 10 Feb 1941. By 13/07/1942 these appear to have been levelled/infilled, see NMR photo 6 102 FNO./42. 8 OUT. F.14. See also undated 170TU/D/UK513 A.7. [A.Deegan to provide plotting details.]
