Full Description

{1} Eyres map of Northamptonshire depicts a cross roads in Fotheringhay with road from Tansor continuing on same alignment to Nassington. This road is later replaced by present road further to the west.

{2} Redundant road shown on Eyres map of 1791 is visible as earthwork/cropmark on aerial photograph NCC:TL0693/027. The earthwork runs from TL06159315 to TL06259321 and the cropmark continues from the latter grid reference to TL06539331.
