Full Description
{1} The bottoms of several ditches survived in area where cropmark had been recorded. The most substantial was 1.2m wide with a depth of 0.5m. Charcoal and burnt clay flecks were noted in the filling together with decayed animal bones. No dating evidence was recovered.
{2} Worked flints and early/middle Saxon pottery recovered; evaluation by M Shaw.
