Full Description
{2} The village had a strikingly rectangular shape made up of three separate parts. The main part, to the north-east, consisted of a roughly rectangular area bounded on the north-east by a broad hollow way up to 2m deep. The hollow ways bound small rectangular paddocks or closes defined by scarps and ditches. Some of these have well-marked house sites within them comprising raised platforms or embanked depressions, suggesting that stone buildings formerly stood there.
