Summary
Cropmark enclosure on air photographs. Geophysical survey over the western half of the enclosure did not identify any anomalies. A trial trench immediately to the south did not identify any associated features.

{1} Aerial photos NCCAP:SP6167/4+5
{2} Air photos show the cropmarks of a large rectangular ditched enclosure, orientated north east - south west and covering some 3.5 ha. Only the south west half is clearly visible. The north west corner may be bounded by two ditches but a later medieval headland has obscured the details. No interior features are recognisable.
