Full Description

{1} Aerial photos NCCAP:SP6267/15+16+18-20+23+38+39.

{2} On the north west side of Main Street are traces of at least 10 closes, bounded by low scarps and banks or shallow ditches, some with infications of former buildings at their south east ends. Modern farm buildings have destroyed most of the evidence at the south west end of this area. The small northernmost close still had a building within it in 1771 and a map of this date shows a land along its south west side. No building now remains, but the land is visible as a hollow way.
