Full Description

{1} This structure is located at the east corner of the site, on the present Wellingborough Road frontage. A structure of the same distinctive overall plan is shown on this site from 1885 onwards. However, from the structural evidence it is unlikely to be the present building, which appears to date from the 1930s, if not later, and to have been built for the hospital, as it can only be accessed from the west. It does not stand on the site on the site of the casual block, as stated in the evaluation.
