Full Description

{3} Shallow furrows were identified within Trench 56 and a further possible furrow in Trench 52. They were aligned north-south, up to 1.5m wide, and in Trench 56 they were c.6m apart. Further discussion of the medieval open field system(s) is presented on p.20-21.
