Full Description
{3} The ridge and furrow survivied as extant features in the east of the development area and across much of the field to the east and south east. Furrows were generally spaced 4-6m apart and orientated north west - south east.
{4} Parallel positive and negative linear anomalies, orientated from north west to south east. These anomalies are characteristic of medieval ridge and furrow field cultivation.
