Full Description
{3} The ridge and furrow was orientated approx north-south with a well pronounced profile and a maximum height of 0.30m between ridge top and furrow base.
{6} On the floodplain of the River Nene (SP705597) a slightly raised circular 'island' of alluvium only 100m across has slight ridge and furrow on it. This suggests that almost every available piece of land in the parish was cultivated at some time.
