Full Description
{1} Pumping station at Ravensthorpe reservoir, formerly owned by Northampton Corporation. A suite of brick-built buildings with slate roofs, the main windows are in a "Tudor/Elizabethan" style. The engine house has a decorated cap on its chimney, but its engines had gone by 1966.
{2} Fine iron entrance gates adjacent to the Lodge House, red brick with stone details, occupied, with semi-derelict coach house to the rear. Large superintendent's house in similar architectural style. Single storey, double pile engine house and workshops with two projecting wings, red brick with stone details. Octagonal cooling pond and filter beds in grounds. Covered reservoir.
