Full Description

{1} The earliest representation of the cottages and Tunnel Hill Farm is given on the Deed Map of 1872. Additional buildings were constructed during the 20th century to meet the needs of increased mechanisation and for vehicle storage.
The earliest phase if the cottages, stone barn and stone wall surrounding the farmyard and probably the open cattle sheds on the east and west of the farmyard. Later additions to the farm include the pigsty, the second and third barns. Most recently, it is probable that the sheds in the east of the development area were added for the storage of large farm machinery.
