Full Description

{1} Discovery of 'kiln furniture' (Roman?) made by farmer of White Gates farm several years ago at lower side of field, just above the floodplain, approximately 75-100 metres north west of Roman bath-house being excavated by IARS. No material retained.

[SMR note 04/07/2008: the quoted ngr is c.75-100m NORTH EAST of the excavations, not north-west.]
