Summary

A leather dressing works to the rear of 40 Victoria Road. The building appears on the 1899 Ordnance Survey map and was extended before 1923. This extension may mark the occupancy of Radburne and Bennett, Curriers and Leather Merchants. The building was noted as a leather dressing works on the 1975 Ordnance Survey map, but by 1999 the building was empty. The building is constructed of brick with Welsh slate roofs.
