Full Description

{1} The cottage was built in the mid/late nineteenth century and reflects the status of the gardener at the time. Little documentary evidence survives about the original cottage apart from map evidence and the surving structure of the building itself. The extensive modern alterations have significantly altered the external appearance of the former cottage and have removed all original windows and dorrs. No aspect of the building remains unaltered and all original features have been removed. The original cottage was extended c. 1970.
