Summary

Stable-block which was probably constructed in the late 1870s as a two-storey building comprising harness room, loose box and stalls on the ground floor with hay loft above. Alterations were undertaken in 1977 and post-2005.

Full Description

{1} The stables are considered to be of a later date then that of the manor house and the outbuildings, possibly mid Victorian. It has undergone one major renovation c. 1977 which resulted in the removal of the second storey. It is now to be brought into domestic use.

{4} A photographic record was made of the building prior to alterations. The general aspect and appearance of the building has not changd since the removal of the upper floor in 1977. The building was probably constructed in the late 1870s.
